This listing is for a Alexander Chamberlain Electric Co Engineers and Contractors NY Building / Advertising antique / vintage Logo Plaque. It appears to have come off of a company building or perhaps a building project. It was sourced in central PA, an area with many bridges and older buildings as well as other public works. I believe it was originally painted some other color than white, it has quite a few thick layers of paint. It could be left as is for a neat industrial look, or taken back to metal to make the lettering stand out more. Lettering has a nice font. It is a fascinating item for collectors of early signs / advertising, industrial history, architectural salvage, and more! Great for gifting, display / decor, and more.

It is in good vintage / antique condition. It is not dated or marked by a maker, so I am unsure its exact year of manufacture. Due to its solid and sturdy construction as well as the style I believe it is from between the early 1910s-30s. It appears to be some sort of steel or other heavy metal that was cast then painted, it has a nice weight but is not too heavy to hang. It has no major chips cracks or other sever damage.
