Thisis an award winning design by French designer Phillipe Starck, made by Alessi,an Italian housewares and kitchen utensil company founded in 1921. The miniatures are quite rare, and wereproduced as a collectable. They are no longer being made.

Thisone has been on display behind glass since I acquired it several yearsago. It makes a wonderful display piece,and conversation starter.
