Purchased from the estate of James Cole a prominent collector of primitive tribal masks and artifacts. This authentic Songye power mask is old (in my opinion mid 20th century see image closeups and judge for yourself). The superlative shaman mask is in good condition for it's age. The 15" x 7" hand carved / colored mask is intact with typical agewear consistent with use and age. To augment my listing I included images from the internet with similar Songye masks to compare.
