A collection of 5 advertising sets representing the 1940s - 1960s!
Ceramic blue and white dressed Chefs represented Tappan which later was absorbed by Frigidaire in 1990s. They measure 4" high. The quirky anthropomorphic Handy Flame shakers were made as a mascot for Indianapolis natural gas companies in the 40s. They have cartoonish features with big wide smiles. Distributed by the “Indianapolis Blue Flame Gas Co.” Both are in good used condition with slight age related paint loss (see photos). The plastic Heinz ketchup and Stanley bullet shapes are 3-4" high.
The plastic cute tubby Yellow Chefs were made for New Line Industries in New York, USA. Theymeasure 3.25” high by 2" wide.All shakers are in good used condition with some age related paint loss and discoloration, but still make a great display for your collection. Condition is described as best as possible, but feel free to contact me with any questions about the sets you see in my sales.
