This is a from a large estate collection. For many years It was a wall-mounted sign at a bus station in Rushville, Indiana. Taken down in the 1980s, it was stored inside as part of a larger collection of vintage signs.
Condition This painted sign was outside for 40 years. It’s weathered and faded. It’s very authentic with lots of rust, but the metal is whole; no loss on the material. Rusty on the back. All of my signs are completely original. They were exposed to the elements for years; so they bear the wear you might expect for a vintage sign. See photos.
This vintage 1940s public telephone sign is a great addition to any collection. Measuring 17” x 7”, this original bus station sign is a piece of history. The blue white color and bold design make it an eye-catching item.
