Accurate Antique Avery Birmingham Weights: 2, 2, & 4 Lbs Weights - Calibration Tested Very Well Maintained May Occasionally Need Some Very Minor Polishing I. CONDITION Excellent.USED. Previously owned.Minimal use. These weights are near-calibration grade.Well maintained. • Item’s Background - Retired Engineer\'s Estate Sale Item, Pasadena, Ca. • Working Condition – Excellent. These weights are fully functional and perform exactly as originally intended.(See weight Calibration Testing Table, below.) Many weights out there are merely approximately accurate - just barely adequate enough for their intended purpose. These weights have tested out to a higher standard. • Cosmetic Condition –Shows Well. No unusual wear, marring, pitting, or corrosion. However, there are the usual marks from original manufacturing, batch handling, and packaging. (See pics.) One of the 2 lb. weights has at some point been painted brass/gold - likely to retard rust or for aesthetic/hygienic reasons. • Bottom Line - This is a handsome set of 3 classic weights at a very reasonable price.
