Antique Carte de Visite (CDV) Photograph. Identified as Abbie F. Rogers. Photo by H.P. Macintosh studio, Newburyport, Massachusetts. Her photo was part of a collection of Goodrich family images of Newbury, West Newbury, and Newburyport, Massachusetts. However, we have not been able to find a direct connection. Measures approximately 2.5 x 4 including mount. Condition: This is an original photograph, not a copy or reproduction. It has noticeable foxing (age spotting) of the mount. Comments: An online search of the genealogy of the Goodrich family begins with David Lufkin Goodrich (1809-1893), born in Newbury, Massachusetts and died in West Newbury. He was married to Susan Robinson Currier (1810-1883). Their children included Horace Mahan Goodrich (1839-1922), Granville Spencer Goodrich (1842-1918) and James Bartlett Goodrich (1844-1930). Family photos in our inventory, listed and sold separately, include: David Lufkin Goodrich, Granville Spencer Goodrich, Horace Mahan Goodrich, Lydia Adeline Goodrich, Joseph P. Goodrich, Susan Mary Goodrich, and Abbie F. Rogers whose CDV photo was included as part of the family collection.
