This is a very RARE advertising toy whistle and the whistle works. The only one I have ever seen like it. I would imagine it was a giveaway when parents bought shoes for their child. The parents probably were soon annoyed by the child blowing the whistle all the time, then took it away and threw it in the trash. This one survived.
Bright Yellow with Red print and Poll-Parrot logo. The end of the whistle says, \"No Substitutes For Leather\".
The back side says, \"Look for This Star On Every Heel\".
Measures 1-1/2\" Long
