An archive of handwritten letters and other material from the artist Louis Kronberg(1872–1965) to fellow artist Elizabeth Whitney (1885–1961).
Included are:
10 holographic manuscript letters, 9 have the original mailing envelope with Elizabeth Whitney's address in Kronberg's hand.One of the letters is signed "Louis Kronberg". While the others are signed "The Philanthropist".; Asigned Christmas card in the original envelope and two invitations to exhibitions of Louis Kronberg's paintings both in the original envelope and other pieces of ephemera.
All are from the Early 1940's.
Some of the envelopes have tears and discoloration, else in very good condition.
