Just obtained from an estate in Astoria Oregon, large Scandinavian population. I was told this hand carved Troll was brought back in the late 1950’s and original owner believes it to be carved by Anton Sveen.

This vintage hand carved male troll figurine by Anton Sveen is a charming addition to any collection of folk art decorative collectables. The intricate carvings on this piece showcase Sveen's skill as an artist and the unique characteristics of Norwegian folklore. The troll's charming expression and fabulous details make it a delightful conversation starter and a wonderful display item. It is marked HWA on the underside, no other signature. He is in excellent condition with very minimal shelf wear.
