This antique Sèvres dinner plate from France is an example of the Service of Napoleon III (Service Chiffre Dore de L'Empereur Napoleon III). The gold monogram for King Louis Phillippe is surrounded by a gold foliate leaf wreath. Above the monogram is a gold crown. Gold ivy vine leaves to rim. These plates were used at King Louis Phillippe's royal estates.

The plate has a diameter of approximately 9.25 inches. Manufacture de Sevres mark to underside dating to 1857.

The item is an antique and is sold as is. The item may show wear, fading, scratches, original imperfections and/or damage from normal use. In particular, there is a chip to rim on face, and a smaller chip to rim on reverse as shown in photos. Examine photos carefully as they are part of the description.
