Description:

CIRCA 1880-1900, a adorable child’s period dress overflowing with masses of Valencienne lace. The dress has hand shirring in between the Valencienne laceinsertions and has a low waist with ruffles notonly added at the bottom but also around the collar, sleeves and all along the front part of the dress.There was so much love and work put into this dress.. Measuring approx. 25”long approx. 12” across the chest<laid flat>. In very good strongcondition,a few tiny openings and tiny buttons missing at the back.This has one hand covered linen button but tiny Mother of Pearl buttons would also be lovely.They also inserted a lace ruffle down the back opening.A wonderful dress for child or for that special doll.
