ITEM TYPE: antique transferware souvenir ware with decal transfer of the Public Library in Council Bluffs, Iowa..

MATERIAL:gold trim , yellow lustre, white porcelain mug with transfer of public library

MAKER/MARKS: The number 69 is stamped on the bottom, and impressed into the bottom is the number 6332, no indication of country of origin (these were usually made in Germany, but no name stamped, so not sure) This type of souvenirware was popular from approx 1890s, into the first part of the 1900s.....

DIMENSIONS: approx2 5/8\" tall x 3 3/8\" wide including handle

CONDITION: tight hairline on one side , also spiderweb crack in bottom...(these were made as souvenirs, a fun remembrance of travel a hundred years ago, not \"fine china\")
