A rare antique stag’s head inkwell. The cast base is modeled with acorns and oak leaves and raised on four feet. It supports a glass inkwell. The stag’s head is in its original paint and the antlers are undamaged. There is some paint loss to the head and antler tips, as shown in the photographs. Measurements: The base measures 5" wide x 6" long (foot to foot) The stag's head and antlers measure 2 1/2 " wide (antler tip to tip) x 7 1/2 " long (tip of nose to tip of antler) The glass inkwell measures 2 1/2 " long x 2 1/2 " wide x 1 3/4 " high
