11&1/4\" x 8&5/8\" hardcover, four hundred twenty seven pages, profusely illustrated, the most comprehensive book on Allendale, NJ ever printed. 184 pages (pages 194-378) include countless historic biographies of former Allendale residents dating back to the 19th century (see pics), one of them succumbed toeating a poisoned fish (see pic 6). Included as a bonus are two 8 x 10 b&w glossy vintage photographs. One is of \"Garden Party for Senator Parker\" from the 1930\'s and the other is of John Parnell Thomas, (former Mayor of Allendale and U.S. Representative) giving a speech in downtown Allendale, circa later 40\'s. The photos do have some creases from age that you notice if inspecting in the reflected light, the party photo has some wear at lower right edge.
