This antique ephemera kit set is called ADDIES' LOT . It includes over 30 pieces of old farm and personal paper from the 1890s to 1950s with some vintage bonuses. The elements and documents belonged to Addie Bryant, of Bryant Virginia in the United States and provide a fascinating glimpse into her the past. She grew up after the Civil war and her husband was a widowed civil war veteran. She survived through WW1 ,the great depression, and WWII. She passed away in the 1950s. The photos are copied as they are family photos. What I love about Addie is that she was steadfast ,resourceful, intelligent, frugal and saved everything. The most important thing I love is that she was a crafter and her collected bits of fabric,yarn, cards,half finished doll clothes and yoyo collection reveal that she was always crafting unless she was working. She has inspired my creativity all my life. I was getting into her "things" every chance I could. I wanted to make an ephemera kit including some of these fabric and lace scraps, a greeting card, stamped envelopes and some other relevant pieces. Including a couple sheets from her hymn book, some pages from a grammar book used by her children part of her atlas. A couple of blank farm ledger sheets, cancelled checks. She  clipped the weather out of the News paper! I wanted to include some copies of photos to give her the credit for creating the time capsule she did. Create a "carte de visite", or other elements. I recommend you copy it and other sheets first for back up. I always feel like I really knew her and perhaps working with this kit you will get to know her a little bit too.

The set is perfect for creating a junk journal with vintage paper and ephemera, and would make a great addition to any historical journal collection. The craftiness of a crafter is a calling! The very fragile bits are best used for decoupage. The documents are in as found condition and provide a unique look at the history of farm life in America. The 3 kits on offer are basically identical but slightly randomized. I will randomly send you one of the three. You will get the same things in the same amount but I can't say which good house keeping 1901 page or greeting card. This kit needs to have some surprises! There are ample photos to guide you in your decision. I included a couple that show a sample of the similarities/ differences of the 3 different kits.
