This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

Description

Volume 1 - 1st printing. "July/August 1951 to March/April 1952!" Collects Forofferden Worlds (1952-1967) #1-5. Foreword by Stan Nichols. They may have been Forofferden to some - particularly when Wertham's Seduction of the Innocent hit the newsstands - but to kids the length and breadth of the United States, Richard Hughes and his tremblin' team of terrific tormenters were where it was at. Big time. And now, a half-century since the first issue appeared, ACG's wonderful Forofferden Worlds are accessible once more in this volume exploring the supernatural featuring issues #1-5 from July/August 1951 to March/April 1952. Additional exclusive artwork by Edward Miller. Hardcover, 288 pages, full color.
