A beautiful American Brilliant Period wheel cut decanter from the Elmira glass house, Pattern #17. This house didn't last long so their incredible pieces are very hard to find. Blanks came from Pairpoint for the cutters. This decanter is dated to between 1906-1910. Stopper is correct and fits well. No marks or numbering on the stopper or decanter. This must have been cherished, as the intricate pattern is crisp, bright and in astonishingly excellent condition. The miter cuts are wide and deep and very reflective. This is a very impressive piece.
