Tsong Kha-pa was the founder of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. He was born in QingHai Province, Tarr Mt. and became a monk when he was seven. At age of sixteen, he went to Tibet to study five kinds of knowledge and had a good understanding of the exoteric and esoteric doctrines. He gradually reformed the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
He gradually formed the Gelung Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. He wears a yellow ogival hat, with two lotus flowers growth out of his two hands on his two showers.
The images under Tsong Khapa respectively are his two famous disciples, the lfet one is rGyal Tshab Rje and the Right one is Mkhas Grub Rje.
