This jaw-dropping Herkimer Diamond quartz cluster is from The Herkimer Diamond Mines KOA Resort in Middleville, New York.
It is comprised of several dozen gem-grade crystals arranged in a delicate, unique formation. Many of the crystals have excellent clarity with a light smoky color. There are minor inclusions of black hydrocarbon as well as beautiful rainbows. This specimen also features an Enhydro inclusions which contains a moving gas bubble! This is an extremely high quality specimen, the crystals have sharp forms and almost all of the terminations are perfect and intact. Only one crystal is repaired. The cluster has delicate, stunning aesthetics and is a truly unique display piece.
Large clusters like this are somewhat delicate and handling them should be avoided, they are best suited as display pieces. The quality of this specimen is far superior to most other clusters of this size, you won\'t see one like this very often!
Like all Herkimer Diamond clusters of this size, this specimen has been partially reconstructed at the key marks. Mined by hand in the spring of 2021. Pelican case Included!
