Welcome to the Textile Trunk ~ please follow us on Instagram! We are @textiletrunk GORGEOUS printed linen curtain ( I found a set of 4 of these! To view the others, simply search my store for the words \" enormous scale \" and they will appear! ~ this panel is an American textile from around the 1930\'s ~ I was photographing this panel and trying to figure out the repeat, and then I realized it is ALL the repeat! :) 85 inches of one pattern, it\'s just spectacular! This printed , pure linen curtain was achieved by creating large hand blocks , carved from wood. Each color was a different cut block ~ to my eye, it took about 12 hand carved blocks to make this beauty! I adore EVERYTHING about it ~ the linen has a springy movement ~ the colors are bold, but there are signs of time and use, it\'s just everything I love about these textiles ~ wonderful for any period interior!! ~*~ This textile is backed in a cotton fabric and the top once hung by rings ~*~ The linen is strong and sturdy ideal also for repurposing for upholstery etc. Design inspiration too , please! I would love to see this pattern live again ~*~ MEASUREMENTS: This fabulous curtain measures approximately : 85 inches long by 50 inches wide~ CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. This panel once hung in a window so one of the edges is a bit more faded than the center. Right along that edgetoo, it\'s caused the linen to weaken so the backing has come away in places on that edge!~ Some water marks on the front ~ The backing has some pale staining , but the linen is strong! It\'s an absolute treasure, with signs of time and use to be expected ~ just gorgeous!! Inventory : E 3255
