In this collection are seven (7) monographs published in the UK by Profile Publications that present a detailed and fully illustrated description, history and assessment of different military airplanes of World War I. Each issue features color art depicting the warplane on the inside of the front and back covers, and many black-and-white period photographs illustrate the text.
Included are #9—The Albatross D V; #25—The Fokker D. VII; #31—The Sopwith Camel F.1; #49—The Nieuport 17; #79—The Nieuport N.28C-I; #103—The S.E.5; and #127—The Albatross DI-DIII.
There is light handling and cover rubbing; a small section of surface paper is missing from #9 and cover spine is split for 2\" at bottom; there are a few minor spots: VERY GOOD+ condition.
