KNIFE CARE To maintain the quality of your knife, do not store it inthe leather sheath for extended periods of time as leather may absorb water andcause rust. After each use, wash and immediately dry the blade and apply WD-40,vegetable oil, or Vaseline to prevent rust. If the blade has already becomerusted, use 600 grit sandpaper to remove the rust before applying WD-40,vegetable oil, or Vaseline. To sharpen the blade, use a ceramic rod and holdthe knife at a 20-degree angle while gently drawing the blade from the handleend to the tip. Repeat the same process on the other side.
