This is a nice selection of BIRTHDAY postcards that have the classic motifs that were seen on antique postcards from the early 1900s. These postcards have designs with FLOWERS, MESSAGES with nice lettering, RURAL SCENES, etc. The postcards are nicely drawn and have a colorful and attractive look to them. These postcards are EMBOSSED and five have GOLD trim. One postcards says "May I Propose", and that is in strong gold trim, and it has a gold border as well. The postcard is a GREETINGS postcard, but it was sent for a birthday. There is another very nice postcard that has SILVER trim and purple blowers. The publisher of these postcards is BIRN BROTHERS (B.B. London), who published out of London, and printed their postcards in Germany. They are a well respected firm and sought after by collectors.

These are good postcards to add to a collection. They wouldappeal to collectors because they capture the style used back in the early 1900s, and a glimpse of life back then. They have good detail, and they are a pleasure to look at. Overall, a niceselection of antique Birthday postcards at a very reasonable price.

The postcards are UNPOSTED (4) and POSTED (3) and have cancel dates of 1910-1912. These would have been "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era). They have DIVIDED backs.

These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector.The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age.The photos show the postcards and the backs.
