Today for your consideration, a rough Turkish banded iron agate half nodule weighing 7.5 ounces. This is truly a rare collector piece, you won’t see many Turkish agates with banded iron inclusions and this is absolutely a pristine example. The agate has not been polished on the face, there are no fractures on the face, it’s a prime candidate for a polish! The piece measures approximately 3 1/8 x 2 1/2 x 1 1/4” +/-. This is an absolutely beautiful specimen and would be an excellent addition to any lapidary project or it could be polished and used as a display piece. The item pictured is the item you will receive. We used a small amount of water to bring out the characteristics of the agate, no mineral oil has been applied. We try our best to capture on photo and describe all items to the best of our ability. If you would like additional pictures, please ask.
