Considerably rare. Numerous tiny pinholes-too small to worry about but I would reinforce from the inside before wearing since they are in the shoulder yoke area- few larger easily mendable.

in 26yrs selling very old linens, Ive never found a piece of clothing.

Unlaundered- so you may find age tanning and age spots that are common with old linens.

Museum catalog numbers.

As found.

The items with catalog numbers are from a deaccession of a New York Museum I was so lucky to acquire. Everything is early 1800s.

All the hats, needle lace and French lingerie lace Im listing today is quite age tanned. May also be speckled with age dots.

Procured from the Historic Hunt House estate 1758. Boxes of lace found in a bedroom closet.
