This (These) stone has been cut, shaped, and polished inNorth Carolina. I (The lapidarist) look for interesting stones from all partsof the world. The curves and angles in on the face of a stone slab cansometimes immediately inspire the cut and shape of the cabochon. Other times, fractures,weak spots, or hollow geode pockets in an agate determine the end cut of thestone. The information about each piece is what I understand at the time ofwriting. Someone with more gemological experience will know more than I. I am anovice in the realm of metaphysical gem properties. What I offer is what I havefound on line.
