This elegantly classic egg music box will add a lustrous touch of style to any room it is put in, from bedroom, to living room, its Swarovsky crystals catching tiny glimpses of sunlight for fleeting moments before being sent on its long journey through the Universe, perhaps, the longest journey imaginable, as the infinite space of this Universe creates an unbounded path for the light into nothingness... or everythingness... The original egg was Emperor Nicholas II's 1911 Easter gift to his mother, Empress Maria Feodorovna. In 1927, the Soviet government sold the egg to a foreign private collector. Recently, the egg was bought out by Viktor Vekselberg's "Link of Times" Foundation and returned to Russia.
