Description: A set of five white vintage handmade lace goblet coasters or cup doilies, made in Belgium. These lovely examples consist primarily of traditional handmade Flanders bobbin lace, but also include bits of Valenciennes. They are put together from scrap lace in the manner of Normandy lace -- I have not seen this \"patchwork\" Flanders lace before. Each one is different in pattern. They are about 6\" in diameter, freshly hand-laundered, and ironed - ready to use.I find no stains or damage.More very special lace for your growing collection of Begian handmade laces from the bottomless linen chest of the Rook and The Raven.
