DESCRIPTION:(4) Rare 1890-98 Harper's Weekly issues as shown. GREAT COVERS, GREAT CONTENT, GREAT PHOTOS, & GREAT ARTICLES. Specific issues are June 21, 1890, June 19, 1897, May 7, 1898, and July 23, 1898.

Great text and article and photo variety, and many things relating to the large number and variety of news of the day, including fighting in Cuba, recruiting in New York for Spanish American regiments, steamships among icebergs, etc., etc. A particularly large amount of military related content. Only a very small sampling can be shown in my scans. Great variety of photos. About 20 (oversized) pages in each issue. Lots of content considering the OVERSIZED FORMAT OF THESE ISSUES, measuring a whopping 11 1/4" x 16 1/4".

Great photos, and a huge number and variety of them, and also includes a full detailed text with most. Hundreds of photos in this lot alone. Also, interesting ads of the day in the back of each.

Pages and covers are in very good condition overall.
