Up for sale are 3 mixed pounds of large, Original size, natural, non-dyed, ‘AAA’ grade tumble polished gemstones. I prepackage stones by hand in large, random quantities at a time, then rebalance lots as necessary to ensure that each order is well-balanced for color, variety, pattern, and is safe to be shipped. My Original sized stones measure between roughly 1 and 2 inches from the widest points; there typically come between 35 to 50 stones in a pound, with the average being 40. Some stones are more common than others- and others can be quite rare. Moving forward, newer lots come with a QR code that will take you to my comprehensive identification guide, made entirely from personal photography of stones that I have come across in my mixes over the years.

Over my time with this hobby, folks have shared with me that they use my Original sized material for a wide variety of purposes including jewelry making, art inspiration, faceting practice, trick-or-treat alternatives, collecting, anxiety and stress relief, and interior decoration; many also believe that crystals possess special healing properties. The rough stones that these originally were came from all around the world (with the majority coming from Brazil via South Africa) and are polished in Southern California. Tiger’s please remember that all stones are chosen at random. Due to the nature of natural material, there will be a wide variety of colors, shapes, sizes, clarities, and polishes. For your convenience, provided in the final 6 photo slots are identification charts of some stones you may possibly encounter in your lot. The A chart shows stone varieties more likely to be encountered, and the B chart shows rarer possible stone varieties that have been spotted before in the past. Not all stones from the same chart are the same rarity… there are some stones that have only been encountered once in over 4,000 pounds!
