Toile fabrics are a timeless...classic romantic style that literally never goes out of fashion. These prized toile's with the name "Four Seasons" as this is signed...are as popular today as they were throughout all of design history...from the Asian influences...French influences...the shabby chic component that took the world by storm. These romantic toile prints are perfect for any decor...any season...people love them for holidays and summer time just the same.
This offering is for 3+YDS x 49 inches wide of unused unwashed straight up cotton...a matte black ground with scenic views of the yearly ritual fox chase called The Hunt. In most places it is a chilly Fall day when people come out and picnic and in more modern times tailgated at the events. I have another 3YDS available too being soldseparately...I was drawn to this colorway and the way the scenes bleed in to the matte black ground. A untextured cotton...upholstery weight...cretonne texture more so...unglazed cotton...not textured like a traditional barkcloth...but a patternry just the same. I love the aqua minty blue greens with the coralorange pop...lattes and cocoas...lemon chartreuse...powder blue...chocolate with white accents. It is signed "Saison Happily Married Fabrics Vat Prints". This is original 1940's yardage that was folded on the bolt for a lifetime...it is flawless with a customary fold line down center from being folded on the bolt. A great opportunity for and clutches...upholstery and anything else your creative genius can concoct.
