The Charoite deposit located in the Murun Mountains in Yakutia, Russia is the only location in the world where this material is found. First discovered by Russian geologist in the 1950\'s, the name Charoite was confirmed by the Commission on New Mineral Species in 1978. Charoite is said to be the stone of the spirit.
