A major win for the sports fan! 3 sports scrapbooks featuring over 100 magazine photos / clippings of the greats. The majority of the photos are from baseball. One of the scrapbooks is all baseball; the other two, addition to baseball, also have photos from football, basketball, and hockey. A few female athletes of the era are also included (such as tennis champ Nancy Chaffee and golfer Marlene Bower). The photos appear to mostly be clippings from Sport Magazine, dated late 1940s to early 1950s. The previous owner hand wrote the name, team, and dates above many of the photos. The books measure 10" x 12." Overall, the scrapbooks are in good, aged condition. However, the original tape used has lost its adherence on many pages and is not stuck to the page. The pages can be re-taped in by the new owner. There are occasional tears to some of the photos and paper. The background pages have age tanning. Please see photos.
