250+ 1900-1920 small stereoview glass negatives FRANCE/ALGERIA/SPAIN/UK/GERMANY:

For sale is a spectacular collection of approximately 250 negatives for small stereoviews fresh from a Maryland estate. Stereoviews includes 30 or so from Algeria, with the rest appearing to be from Europe, including Stuttgart, Le Puy, Seville, Bouges, Carcassonne, Zurich, Taormina and other locations, including a few of London. Interesting photographer liked to take scenes of people outdoors in the streets, including a nice little run of marching crowds/parade of the Fete of God at Concarneau. All appear to be in very good condition. Some look more faded in my pictures, but I think that has more to do with the background I used to photograph them (the sky, mostly, with intermittent clouds that changed the richness of the photos). I used freeware on the internet to turn the negative images positive. Actual images, were one to develop them properly, would be much richer, with more blacks and whites than the general gray shown here. An interesting lot!
