For the scanning process, a manufacture supplied scanner document holder was used to prevent damage or marks to/on the postcard that can occur from the feeder wheels of the scanner. The feeder wheel marks can sometimes be visible in the images as broad bands of lines but these are on the document holder not the postcard itself.

We Offer Two Shipping Options for Postcards:

USPS Ground Select (more protected against damage in transit)*:

We pack the postcard(s) between 2 pieces of box cardboard to protect the card(s). The package is more than 0.25 thick to ensure that it does not bend in transit and arrives in good condition and ships USPS Ground Select.This is a moreexpensiveshipping option but offers the most protection against damage in transit and is how orders with 4 or more postcards or with individual postcards of $20 or more are shipped.

® Standard Envelopefor Trading Cards, Stamps, Postcards & Coins for items $20 or less:

NOTE: While this is option is much less expense this means NO box cardboard protection for the card since we are NOT allowed to use Bubble Mailers, BoxCardboard Packages, or any packaging made of plastic or rigid material and must be less than .025\" thick. To use this option, we needed to use a standard #10 envelop with minimal protection.This means that envelop is more prone to bend in transit and we cannot guarantee the postcard will arrive without transit damage. USPS Ground Select offers much better shipping protection and is what we recommend.
