Beautiful porcelain king cake piece by the famous New Orleans Bakery, Haydel\'s. The piece is BRAND NEW in its original bag, never displayed.

King cakes are a Mardi Gras staple, and Haydel\'s makes the best in town. The collectible piece is included with the king cake, inside a plastic bag, not inside the cake, as the tradition is to put a small plastic king cake baby inside, and whoever gets the baby has to buy the next king cake for the group.

This one is the 2020 piece The REX HOUSE to commemorate the house on St Charles Avenue where the parade traditionally stopped for the king to make a toast. The house burned down around Mardi Gras time last year.

There is no flaw on the roof of the piece as it looks discolored, but it is the camera flash, piece is excellent.
