THIS OFFERING IS NOT ABOUT A SALES BROCHURE FOR FORD\'S NEW 2002 FOCUS, ZX2 OR MUSTANG, rather, an opportunity for auto enthusiasts to own an important part of US history we should never forget. I was a sales manager for 30 years with a Dallas area Ford dealership and often replaced the previous year\'s print literature with the current model years incoming materials. Best I can remember it was not more than a week or so after both of the World Trade Center buildings were demolished in a terrorist attack with the loss of almost 4,000 individuals & emergency responders (not to mention all other lives lost from the associated attacks in DC and PA.) than did Ford Motor Company contact all dealerships to IMMEDIATELY remove them from the display cases and shelves. And they meant IMMEDIATELY.
Let\'s face it, who remembers the ZX2 or the fact that we still offered station wagons and the Ford Mustang will sell without any brochure being printed at all. The basic fact here is that these brochures were supposed to have been destroyed, dumped in the trash and this was way before recycling became popular. Ford DID NOT want (nor anyone want) to associate their company or organization with the destruction etched in the mind\'s of not only American\'s but the entire world. The World Trade Center was an icon of business and attacking it did not deter the U.S. or its citizens from continuing to be the strongest nation in the world
I personally held on to many of these brochures realizing the historic value I perceived they had and I still have them in NEW, PRESTINE, condition and offer as many as you want. Brochure measures 6\" x 11\" closed (22\" wide opened) and contains 48 multi-colored pages.
Lastly, you may have seen another version of this brochure and that is one of my images with A BIG RED X. There is no value in this brochure as it is the exact same brochure with a different front cover image but WITHOUT any historic significance. It\'s just a brochure, unless and of course you own a 2002 Focus, ZX2 or Mustang. If that is the case I apologize in advance if I have offended your selection of brochures.
