Honda packed a lot of info in this press kit issued to journalists in January 2000. In nine separate news releases, a CD-ROM and three 8X10 photos, the PR staff covered everything from concept vehicles to Honda history to its motorsports activity. Separate releases are included on three concept vehicles making the rounds of auto shows in 2000: The “Spocket” convertible/sport coupe/pickup; “FCV” fuel-cell and the electric “City Pal” commuter car. Other releases look at Honda’s record sales performance in 1999, and the various engines Honda builds (10 million a year). In contrast, its 9-by-12-inch pocket folder is unusually understated, with only an almost invisible “Honda” embossed in white on the white cover. The press kit is complete and in near-excellent condition, with only a tiny spot of soiling near the upper right corner of the front cover.
