Two American Scenery Co. stereoviews, published circa 1870\'s-1880\'s. One is titled “1383. Roosevelt Hospital”. The other is titled “1377 St. Luke’s Hospital”. I am not an expert on the area of New York City but a quick look online on these two hospitals leads me to believe that they are the hospitals that are now known as Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mt. Sinai West and located in NYC. Size is 6 13/16 by 3 1/2 inches.
These views have overall soiling plus edge wear and significant corner wear. About 1 inch of the left bottom edge of the St. Luke’s view is missing about 1/8 inch of the outer edge. The St. Luke\'s view has a small brown stain of unknown origin on the right in the sky area.Please examine the photos closely & purchase based on your own judgement as to condition & value.
