This sphere is 53mm in diameter and is carved from natural stone showing brightly colored orbicular spots of Fire Calcite through dark obsidian matrix stone. This Fire Calcite is a recent find from Mexico, found in an area where fire opals are found. Includes a wood tripod stand, carved from a single piece of wood, making this fantastic sphere great for display.
