This offer is for two 1950s award ribbons from the Lawrence County Fair in Bridgeport, Illinois. One is a 1950 purple 4-H ribbon for club work measuring approximately 14.3 cm (5-9/16\") in length, and the other is a 1954 third prize white ribbon with the State of Illinois Seal as part of the design, measuring approximately 13.6 cm (5-3/8\") in length. Both of these measurements are of the actual ribbons, not including the strings. These ribbons have gilt lettering that remains fairly bright, especially on the purple ribbon.

These ribbons are in very good to fine condition overall. The purple ribbon is in fine condition - clean and bright, with very bold gilt lettering. The white ribbon is in very good condition, with tanning and light stains yet remains fairly bright with some remaining brightness in the lettering. These ribbons have light bends (not folds) from handling and storage.The illustrations in this listingare photos of the actual items being offered for sale, serving as part of the description.
