This listing is for100% natural, top quality light blue agate rough from Turkey weighing a total of 18.73 oz (2,655 ct / 531 gr). This agate lot is unpolished, undyed, and untreated--completely natural. The rocks are not chalcedony. Each piece is a bona fide agate.
There are 37 agates in this rock lot. The first 15 pictures and the video were taken with the agates wet (not under direct sunlight).the rest, indoors and dry.We did not apply any filters to the photos or video, before or after taking them.
These rough gemstones are ideal for tumbling, as well as making jewelry. They will turn out sophisticated necklaces, earrings, bracelets,... you name it. If you have a jewelry project in mind, this blue agate lot could be what you are looking for. If you're a lapidary artist--you can get lovely cabochons from these agates, that's a fact. And, interestingly, you can use them as home décor. They look verynice when you put all of them into a tall/tallish glass vessel and fill it up with water. The blues really explode when you do this, yes, in a "light blue" way, but the overall effect is quite pleasing to the eye. Add some lighting on top of that, and yes, they would serve very handsomely as interior décor (with or without dedicated lighting). For yourself or for others, it's a lovely gift, too. These agates have something for everyone.
As far as dimensions go, as you can see in the dimension image, they range between 0.4 inches to 1 inch.When you receive these agates, they will look like they do in the pictures that show the weight and dimensions (to be honest, the weight picture shows the rocks a bit too-dark-blue, the real color is closer to the dimension picture and the first, main image (where they are wet). Light blue.
