Fantastic 2.1\" Sunstone sphere with stand from India. This 53mm diameter sphere is carved and polished from natural Sunstone found in India which features great color with a speckled appearance in areas, lending to its name. The effect appears to be due to reflections from enclosures of red hematite in the form of minute scales, which are hexagonal, rhombic, or irregular in shape, and are disposed parallel to the principal cleavage plane. Includes a wood tripod sphere stand as pictured. A wonderful gemstone sphere great for display, collection, study, and metaphysical use.
