19thC. Central African Tribal wooden jug/vase/leather bindings. This jug is created from a single piece of hardwood accentuated with leather bindings in a very artistic way. It has a lovely patina and wonderful small losses. This is a handmade wood vessel measuring 9 1/2 inches high by 7 inches wide with a 4 inch diameter opening on top. It is also hand decorated with metallic points around the outside. There is a 2 inch hairline crack along the top which is not noticeable look carefully at the pictures. It is probably due to its age. I have lowered the price to reflect this minor damage. This is a wonderful decorative piece. It is in very good antique condition.
