Grading System Breakdown

Mint (M):Perfect condition with no visible flaws. The cover is flat with no surface wear. Inks are bright, and the comic must be well-centered. It must look as if it just came off the press.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minor imperfections allowed, such as very slight spine stress or printing defects, as long as they do not detract from the overall appearance.
Very Fine (VF): Shows some minor wear but still has great eye appeal. Minor creases or bends, slight spine roll, slight staple tears, and minor blunting of the corners might be present.
Fine (FN): Shows moderate wear. There may be some creases and small tears, but the comic is still relatively flat and clean with no major defects.
Very Good (VG): Shows significant wear but is still complete and intact. Defects may include larger creases, spine roll, staple tears, and moderate discoloration.
Good (G): Shows substantial wear and may have significant defects such as large creases, tape repairs, or a detached cover. The comic is complete, but its appearance is diminished.
Fair (Fa): Heavy wear with major defects. Comics in this grade may have pieces missing, heavy staining, or other significant damages. They are usually readable, but not very collectible.
Poor (P): Severe damage, possibly missing pages, defacement, mold, or heavy staining. The comic is in the lowest collectible condition.
