1988 Great American Trains Commemorative Folio, issued by the Postal Commemorative Society. A wonderful commemorative tribute to American Trains with Information on the train history and associated stamps.Features actual USPS stamps commemorating the Great American Trains. This Postal Commemorative Society folio is in excellent shape and showcases the intricate designs of these historic locomotives.
There are four removeable panels:#1 includes a 1944 Transcontinental Railroad stamp;#2 includes 1950 Casey Jones and 1952 Baltimore and Ohio Railroad (B & O) stamps;#3 includes a 1970 \"Locomotive 1870\'s\" stamp and five 1987 booklet stamps featuring five early American locomotives;#4 includes a 1970 mail trains stamp and a 1984 caboose of the 1890\'s stamp.
This is a nice item for any train enthusiast or stamp collector and will make a great addition to any collection. Measures 10.25 x 8.25 inches.
