The badge was designed by former Mercedes-Benz executive, Leo Levine, who is an honorary Pebble Beach Concours judge. The off-kilter “1” in the 100 is an homage to the 300SL Gull Wing.This is a super-sharp medallion — nickel over brass, with raised lettering over a matte-finish white field. Medallion reads "Mercedes-Benz Club of America” around the perimeter, and in the center, below the large "100" is "100 Years of the Automobile, Daimler-Benz 1886-1996."Medallion measures 3" in diameter (8cm).
