These were considered the Marvel Universe series and consisted of:1987 Marvel Universe (Series I) 1987 Colossal Conflicts (Series II) 1988 Wolverine Trivia (Series III) 1988 Heroic Origins (Series IV) This sale is for single cards to the MARVEL UNIVERSE set from that series.The 1987 MARVEL UNIVERSE set had a very small production run relative to the others (except Heroic Origins). Due to their scarcity and vivid illustrations, these cards are very much sought after by collectors. The cards in this set are of the popular Marvel characters. The card backs have information on: Real Name, Occupation, Identity, Legal Status, Former Aliases, Place of Birth, Marital Status, Known Relatives, Group Affiliation, Base of Operations, First Appearance, and Origin. 6 of the 90 cards in the set are shown in the picture. These cards are in nice condition. It should be noted that the early Comic Images cards experienced some off-center and rough edge cut problems.The list below shows the available numbers at the start of this listing, and many may have duplicates.
