The music box winds up just fine but has difficulty playing the music when sitting upright. It will play if you manually turn it. So, there is some sort of defect with the music box and balance of the carousal. Also, it is a different version of \"Jingle Bells.\" It looks beautiful; there is just a small spot with missing gold paint on the very top. Please see the photos.
